Going to start this post with a fan girl moment.
I looooooooove this nifty device. I mean I totally love this bad boy. It is such an amazing device and it doesn’t even take up space for storage. Hello? Score…
Anyway, it comes in quite a large package because it has a lot of accompanying accessories.
So what you get when you unbox:
- Two blades (one extractor and one milling blade)
- A power base (600W, powerful I know)
- 1 tall cup and two small cups (one cup comes with a handle so you can blend and go)
- 2 resealable lids that would fit all the cups
- 1 pocket nutritionist (a small booklet) and manual with recipes.
The pocket nutritionist gives you an idea of recipes you can try if this is your first time, and it is also amazing for old timers. I would be sharing some of my favorites too so you have an array of recipes to choose from.
Working with it is pretty easy and straightforward and in less than five minutes you have a cup of healthy smoothie. You basically just put all the ingredients you want in the cup, add liquid depending how you want the texture. There is a max line on the cup and it is advisable to follow it. Screw on the blade you want to use and then on to the power base. With the base plugged in, all you need do here is press down and turn clockwise till the you hear the “lock” and it starts to blend. There aren’t any buttons on the base so you control from the switch. It is advisable to not run the machine for a really long time at a go, but for such a powerful device you might need just two blends to get a perfectly blended smoothie depending on the what you are blending.
The milling blade can be used to make, like I have tried, oat flour (for pancakes), nut butter and so on. The price tag is a bit higher than you average blender but the Nutribullet in my opinion is worth it.
Buy the nutribullet
