DIY: Ankara Square Bangle
But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you- John 14:26
Hey luvies :D..I’m still tryna master this phone bloggin’ parole! It can be frustrating mehn!
So I’ve been dying to get one of these ankara bangles for a while buh I couldn’t find anyone who made unique pieces so I decided to recycle my old square bangles 😀
What I used;
The Ankara Fabric
The Square Bangle
Scissors
Mod Podge Glue
A brush
I measured the amount of fabric I was gonna use
So glued on the first layer if fabric….I didn’t want to risk it looking flat and transparent
Then I applied the glue on top on the fabric
Placed the main fabric on and folded it on the inside…
Left it to dry overnight and covered the mess with another fabric
I used my hair dryer to make the drying process faster (low heat)
Whoop!! Its not too perfect but I made it! 😀
So I hope this is helpful….and if you don’t want to go through the wahala of making yours, follow @AyoNaledi she’s based in Nigeria she can hook you up and if you’re ‘overseas’ shop here big Cartel
