What I Wore: Isiagu Top and Lace Up Heels
For a long time,my life felt very stagnant.I was always waiting for someone/people to help/save me,I just never felt I could do anything.Well no one came and I was sick and tired of being in the same place so I started doing things myself, ill start and stop halfway because I didn’t have enough confidence in myself .
I realized I wasnt alone, the creator of the universe had my back! even when i’d fail Ill get up and try again till i got it done (or atleast had a small knowledge)
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me –Philippians 4:13 (NKJV)
It still amazes me the things I’ve taught myself( by the grace of God) -Photoshop,Premiere pro,After effects,Web design.I built my business without bank loans and I do everything myself. My cousin calls me “omo ibo” -I’ve even had some people rename me “chidero” lol
I needed a hero and that’s what I became-SAVE YOURSELF!
Pictures taken by me

Thank you!!
Yes to being your own Hero, We have God but there are some things we need to learn by ourselves. This is a great way to rock the traditional look. I love the addition of the lace-up booties and the ring is a nice touch. I’m loving this new comment section as well, its a lot easier.

thanks for the feedback! 😀
You look awesome! It’s so comforting to know that God has our back…no matter how many times we fail him. When things get hard, we can cry out to him and he’s there!

Thanks for sticking with you
I appreciate you! :**
For real, you taught yourself all those skills – Photoshop, webdesign etc, I’m super impressed. And you’re right, in this life you have to be your own hero on a white horse! Where on earth did you get that top from? A Nigerian designer created it? I just love the black and gold, the print, the metallic chains….
I like that ‘hero on a white horse’ lol
Nah I got if from the local market,it’s everywhere
